Sydney Poolscapes was approached by a couple from Northwestern Sydney who was interested in installing a pool in their backyard. The couple already had onsite stormwater detention (OSD) tank, which was used to collect and store rainwater runoff from roofs and other hard surfaces. The team worked with the couple to design a pool that would create usable space and put a pool in their backyard for their 2 kids.

The homeowners chose a two-tone colour for the pool. They went for the sand colour for the top and then gradually converted it to the cascade colour for the remaining of the pool to achieve the beach look. The end result was a stunning backyard pool that looks like something straight out of a magazine.

The pool was installed near their outdoor entertainment and barbecue area. They were very pleased with the end result and how it has become a focal point in their backyard, which has increased the value of their home. They now enjoy spending more time outdoors and entertaining guests.
