When the couple decided to purchase a pool, they wanted something that would be big enough for their grandkids to swim in when they came over, but also something that they could relax in themselves. They decided on the Ambassador design in our Alabaster colour, to complement the dark grey textures of their house. The pool has added a touch of elegance that complemented their home’s façade.

The homeowners decided to include a water feature that was placed on the swim-out which created a more luxurious look and feel for their pool. The pool was surrounded by marble pavers with a rebated edge coping and includes an umbrella for added protection from the sun. The owner sourced the umbrella themselves, and it has definitely made a nice addition to the area.

The approval process for the project was straightforward. The main item of discussion with this pool project was to complete the work during the home build. However, due to the home builder’s restraints, this was unable to work out. As a result, the team had to come in after the house was completed and then commence the pool works. Despite this, the team was able to gain access via an open block behind.

The only significant delay we had during the renovation process was due to rain; we were trying to get the paving done and the weather wasn’t cooperating. Other than that, everything went smoothly.

We took care of everything from the initial approvals process to the final landscaping and paving. The homeowner then took care of getting the glass fence done and the turf in the yard. In addition, they built some small retaining walls.
