Installing a New Pool? - Here's What to Expect
So, you’ve received a quote, had a site visit, and are getting closer to making your pool dreams a reality, but what happens next?
At Sydney Poolscapes, we’ve simplified the process into 8 clear stages to help guide you from planning to your first swim.
- Getting Started
Once you’re ready to proceed, we’ll request a few final details to prepare your contract. When that’s signed, you’re officially on the books. - Approval
If we’re handling approvals, we’ll prepare your plans and submit everything to the certifier. If you’re managing this step, we’ll simply request those documents before we start site works. - Excavation
Once approvals are cleared and your pool shell has arrived at our yard, we’ll book in excavation. This typically takes two days, including soil removal.
- Installation
Within 5 business days of excavation, your pool shell will be craned into place, filled with water, backfilled, and plumbed in. - Concrete
We’ll schedule and pour the concrete bond beam and surrounds shortly after installation, a key step in locking everything into place. - Equipment Installation
Once the concrete’s set, we’ll install your filtration, heating, and cleaning systems to get everything running smoothly. - Handover
Our Technician will walk you through your equipment and pool care, answering any questions so you feel confident from day one. - Final Certification
We’ll guide you through the last step: obtaining your final Occupation Certificate, and then it's time for your first swim!
